Chad Johnson Booked Into Jail, Held on $2,500 Bond

Chad Charged With Battery & Domestic Violence


Davie police stated Chad and Evelyn were on their way home from dinner when his wife found a receipt for a box of condoms in the car. A fight ensued and escalated when they got to their Davie home. Once in the driveway, Evelyn Lozada said Johnson head-butted her. She had visible lacerations on her forehead. Chad told police she leaned forward and they hit heads accidentally, he was arrested.

The State Attorney recommended $5,000, the judge set bond for $2,500. Chad is not allowed any contact with Evelyn Lozada.

The Miami Dolphins who Chad recently signed, made this statement:

      Exactly! She’s been a Pro Athlete’s Woman before, she already knows it’s gonna happen. Plus, apparently she wasn’t giving him any for a while either, so what does she expect? I don’t know how she could possibly deny THAT man sex, but whatever. & yeah, it was stupid to leave the receipt in their car, but at least smart enough to have gotten them in the 1st place.

          Nope, I don’t hate her. If anything, sounds like you’re hating on me because, come on, you’re flat out making up shit *I* NEVER said. Unless you can, of course, point out the facts to back up implying that I said she both signed up to get her ass beat & cheated on. So, to clarify…
          1. I NEVER said or even HINTED that she agreed to be in either a physical OR abusive relationship.
          2. Nowhere did I claim that she INTENTIONALLY went into their relationship KNOWING she was “signing up” to be in an “OPEN” rather than the committed (& legally committed one at that) that she DID KNOWINGLY enter into.

          I said she SAID FROM HER OWN MOUTH, in an answer SHE gave in regards to the SPECIFIC QUESTION of HIM CHEATING that she knew it could (& to be honest, do expect to) happen. Both SHE & CHAD have openly shared THEIR discussion SPECIFICALLY about it ON TV. These things, I can’t make up. Oh…also…that interview, which I supplied the excerpt from, where she’s CLEARLY indicating her comprehension of the TYPE of relationship she was getting into, that I believe you’re trying to accuse me making up…

          Oh…& because I’d be upset with myself by letting you go on believing that you have reason to feel confident that your baseless (& quite honestly, pitifully generic) accusations were even REMOTELY close to being correct. (I mean, a HATER? Really?)
          I just want to make it ABUNDANTLY clear that I absolutely do NOT condone or wish *ANYONE* to EVER be in/or find themselves in a Domestic Violence/Battery situation. I’ve actually had 3 hospitalizations within 4yrs because of being in that EXACT situation myself. It’s disgusting, it’s inexcusable & there is NO amount of utter disdain I could have for someone, let alone slight, unfavorable differences that I may find in someone else that will *EVER* be acceptable reasons for them to deserve that type of punishment. Period. I hope you’re able to accept that.
          Furthermore, as far as Evelyn goes, I don’t feel any type of ill will towards her in the slightest & don’t understand what it is that you took from what I said to even come to that conclusion. In fact, I just want to state that I actually enjoy watching the show BECAUSE of the entertainment she provides & I especially dig her confidence & strength.

        Now, I’m sure you’re not replying to me because, 1st of all, *I* of ALL people am ALL TOO FAMILIAR WITH & KNOW that NO woman EVER *CHOOSES* to be in a physically OR mentally abusive relationship.
        Also nowhere did I even hint that she went into their relationship knowing physical abuse was even possible. Likewise, I also made no claim that she had made the decision to be with him because she WANTED to be in an open relationship. However, as seen on what THEY’VE discussed openly ON TV (as well as what SHE, HERSELF, stated in the excerpt I provided from HER interview) she was/is FULLY AWARE that she was “signing up” to be in a situation where it was well known &, although not wanted, basically expected that there could (& typically IS) infidelity.

    Well well well, things do come full circle. I hate this happened but how is it wrong for Jen to press charges against your assistant for slapping her but, you have your husband arrested for allegedly head butting you? Now you see how Jen felt being attached. I wonder if Shaunie and Tammy gonna tell you that you went to far like they did Jen? I will say that I am sorry this happened to you, and wish you the best.
