Justin Bieber Arrested Again, Turns Himself In To Toronto Police After Being Charged With Criminal Assault
Justin Bieber, the 19-year-old Canadian singer, returned to his native country only to be arrested again. On Jan. 29, Justin turned himself into police in Toronto and was charged with assaulting a limousine driver on Dec. 30, when the driver picked up Justin and 5 friends from a nightclub.
While en route to the hotel, one of the six passengers hit the driver in the back of the head several times; police were called to the scene, the man who struck the driver left before the police arrived. Upon turning himself in tonight, Justin was charged and left the station within two hours. He is set to appear in court for these charges on March 10.
The arrest comes a week after the singer was arrested in Miami for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. Earlier today, his lawyers entered a written plea of not guilty to those charges. Justin is to be arraigned on Feb. 14 for the incident in Florida.
