Kendra Wilkinson Suffered A Stroke Last Spring

Former “Girl Next Door” and current star of WETV’s “Kendra On Top” Kendra Wilkinson was involved in a head on collision last April that caused her to be rushed to the hospital for minor injuries. The accident occurred around the corner from her house in Calabasas, California while she was attempting to get onto the ramp of the 101 Freeway. Her black Audi sedan suffered severe damage to the front passenger side and even cracked her windshield when it collided with a Ford SUV. While in the hospital she was given a CT scan of her brain which worried doctors after spots of white matter were visible. Her primary care doctor was so worried about the images that he advised her to have an MRI and referred her to a neurologist. The neurologist revealed that she had suffered a minor stroke following the accident which could have caused the white matter images.

Kendra was so shook up over the possibility of her having a stroke that she spent additional time with her close friends and even took a trip to San Diego to be with her mother, grandmother and brother Colin. Doctors determined that Wilkinson indeed did have a stroke through CT scans, days after the car accident, according to E!’s sources. Kendra, who is married to Hank Baskett and mother to their son Hank Junior, shared with fans that the whole experience changed her way of living and thinking.

She said: “U know how you “change” after a car crash. Ya I definitely look at life differently after. Check out #KendraOnTop 2 c what I mean.”

I’m glad to hear that Kendra appears to be doing well now. Suffering a stroke can be deadly. What are your thoughts? Post your comments below.
