Apollo Nida the ex-husband of former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks will be released from prison earlier after a judge reduced his sentence by a year.
A federal judge signed off on an order reducing Apollo’s 96-month prison term down to 84 months.
The document states, “The defendant’s sentence is hereby reduced to 84 months of imprisonment with credit to be given by the Bureau of Prisons for all time served. All other terms of the sentence imposed by this court on July 8, 2014, shall remain unaffected by this order.”
Apollo is now scheduled to be released in August 2020 and will be on probation for several years.
Back in 2014, Apollo was originally sentenced to eight years in prison for bank fraud and identity theft.
Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida were married in 2009 but following his prison sentence, they separated and eventually divorced in 2017.
Apollo is currently locked up in a New Jersey federal prison, Fort Dix FCI, where Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe Giudice, was serving time for multiple counts of fraud.
