Dean McDermott has admitted he cheated on his wife Tori Spelling and has entered a rehab facility to seek treatment. On December 26th, tabloids broke the story that he had an affair with a 28-year-old woman named Emily Goodhand while on location in Toronto on December 6th. Ms. Goodhand had alleged that the pair met earlier that day from friends and retreated to his hotel room later that night to have sex. At the time she said: “He told me he and Tori had a sexless marriage. I believed him.”
Dean and Tori have been married for seven years and have five children; Dean’s oldest son from a previous marriage, six-year-old Liam, 5-year-old Stella, 2-year-old Hattie, and 16-month-old Finn. Tori has yet to comment publicly but Dean released the following statement today:
“I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
Poor Tori, but Tori and Dean’s relationship began while he was still married to his first wife. Do you believe the saying “once a cheater, always a cheater?” What are your thoughts? Post your comments below.
