The former Teen Mom and current Couples Therapy star Farrah Abraham is opening up about her dark past by saying that she was a rape victim. In previews for next week’s episode, Farrah’s therapist, Dr. Jenn Berman addresses the group by saying that Farrah opened up to her with some of the most disturbing details she’s ever heard as she begins crying. In a recent interview Farrah revealed:
“I was drugged and raped more than once. I allowed the [wrong] type of people into my life. It was a very dark time.”
Farrah also said that after her sex tape titled “Back Door Teen Mom” was released by Vivid, her appearances at sex conventions and strip clubs opened up the door for more scary and dangerous experiences. Farrah alleges that she grew up experiencing harsh treatment since childhood by her now-divorced parents Debra Danielson and Michael Abraham. She said:
“[They] would beat me with a belt if I acted out. I had cuts, bruises, welts, swelling and scars.”
And in 2010 after a fight that ended with the police being called and authorities were forced to use a taser gun on her mother to subdue her after she refused to drop the knives she was holding; Farrah decided it was time for a change. Farrah reveals:
“It was a turning point. I needed to stop the abuse. I [still have] a lot of issues. but I’m more aware now, and I’m determined to break the pattern.”
