Jenelle Evans Back In Court Over Child Support Payments

jenelle evans and jaceJenelle Evans headed back into the court room on Monday, December 2nd. Only this time it wasn’t for a drug related offense but in regards to the child support payments she had been paying her mother, Barbara Evans. The troubled former Teen Mom star had previously been in jail because of multiple drug charges and while she was working on herself, her mother had custody of her son Jace. Jenelle had been paying Barbara $130 a month. Since buying a house in North Carolina with her current boyfriend Nathan Griffith, Jenelle has been spending much more time with Jace. She even has a room designated for him in the four-bedroom home. After appearing in court, a judge ruled that the child support payments should cease since Jenelle has Jace in her care. A source close to the reality star reveals:

Mrs. Barbara Evans was in court with her daughter Jenelle and she agreed to stop having Jenelle pay the child support. Jenelle has told people she has money and that her mom thinks she is doing really well now so she is going to see how it goes without the child support for a little while.”

Jenelle is currently filming MTV’s newest season of “Teen Mom 2” and makes a salary off the show and blogging. She is still married to Courtland Rogers (who is incarcerated) but plans on divorcing him. She appears to have hit a rough patch in her relationship with Nathan, having recently tweeted: “Talk sh*t about me all u want. I’m already depressed as f**k so thanks for rubbing the salt in the wound. Getting off twitter.”

I think it’s great that Jenelle is stepping up and becoming the mother she should be. What are your thoughts? Post your comments below.
