I was just getting ready for Jennifer Lopez’s fourth wedding, I feel cheated.
Pretend actress and terrible singer, Jennifer Lopez, 51, and Alex Rodriguez, 45, have broken up.
The un-shocking split comes after the couple postponed their wedding twice and after rumors surfaced that the former Yankees player had been cheating with a young reality star.
Alex hinted at the break-up on Instagram, as he posted a shot of himself alone on a yacht in Miami, grimacing and staring at his cellphone.
“Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie… What are your plans for the weekend?” he captioned in the Friday post.
Jennifer, is on location in the Caribbean shooting her latest film, “Shotgun Wedding.”
“He’s now in Miami getting ready for baseball season, and she’s filming her movie in the Dominican Republic,” a source stated.
The couple, who have been dating for roughly four years, announced their engagement in 2019.
“We had to cancel the wedding because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know,” Jennifer said in December.
The shocking split comes after the rumors that Alex had been video chatting with Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy.
Sources close to Alex, say: “He doesn’t know this woman.”
Madison, admitted the couple have “spoken on the phone, but have never met up. That’s the truth, we’ve never been physical never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance.”
In a recent interview, Jennifer stated that she and Alex saw a therapist during their time in quarantine.
“I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”
On their wedding, “It’ll happen when the time is right. I feel like it’s not a huge priority to go and have a big wedding right now, that’s not what life is about.”
Jennifer has 12-year-old twins with her 3rd ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Alex shared two daughters, Natasha Alexander, 16, Ella Alexander, 12 with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
Alexander and Jennifer reportedly purchased a $40 million waterfront home on Star Island in Florida last summer, and had already flipped a Miami home with help from Chip and Joanna Gaines. They also bought and sold a Manhattan penthouse.
Last summer, the Hollywood star and the baseball legend tried unsuccessfully to buy the New York Mets together, but lost a bidding war to billionaire Steve Cohen. They’re also both backers of fitness brand TruFusion.
