Kathryn Edwards will not be back for season 7 of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
A source tells US Magazine, that producers have opted not to bring back Kathryn, 51, who is married to retired NFL star Donnie Edwards. Kathryn, is a friend of Lisa Rinna and made her debut in season 6 of the hit reality show.
Kathryn’s storyline involved an early disagreement with fellow cast newbie Erika Girardi after Kathryn told Lisa Vanderpump about comments that the singer made about her. Kathryn also had issues Faye Resnick (friend to Kyle Richard), who claimed in her 1994 book, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted, that Kathryn’s ex-husband, Marcus Allen, had an affair with the late Nicole Brown Simpson and that Kathryn turned a “blind eye,” to the affair.
In her final season 6 Bravo blog, posted on the 3rd May, Kathyrn wrote that she enjoyed her time on the series.
“I’ve had fun and have made some valued friendships. I’ve enjoyed meeting a lot of people who have approached me while I’m out and about, and I’ve taken so much from the people who have shared their stories that parallel my own.”
Producers are considering adding Sydney Holland, a movie producer and the ex-girlfriend of Viacom mogul Sumner Redstone, 93, for season 7 and are considering adding a few others to the cast.
No news on the rest of the cast as yet, but my guess is Lisa V, Kyle and Erika will be coming back. Will you miss Kathryn? What are your thoughts? Post your comments below.
