Kim Zolciak Files For Divorce From Kroy Biermann
Kim Zolciak-Biermann has filed for divorce from Kroy Biermann.
The former reality TV stars have been married for 11 years.
According to TMZ. The pair’s date of separation has been listed as the 30th April, per court documents obtained by TMZ. In the filing, the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star described her marriage as “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” Zolciak-Biermann is seeking primary physical custody of their children and joint legal custody; she has also asked for spousal support and the restoration of her maiden name.
I don’t know where Kroy is supposed to get spousal support from as he and his estranged wife owe over $1 million to the IRS.
Legal documents reveal the couple owe $1.1 million for unpaid taxes, interest and penalties from 2013, 2017 and 2018.
Kim, 44, and Kroy, 37, also owe the state of Georgia $15,000 for unpaid taxes for 2018, according to the report.
They couple almost lost their mansion last month, but were able to save it at the last minute.
Kim and Kroy got married on the 11th November 2011 at their Georgia home. The lead-up to their big day was captured in the first season of Don’t Be Tardy. The series aired from 2012 to 2020 for eight seasons.
The couple share 4 minor children Kroy, 11, Kash, 10 and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. Kroy also adopted Kim’s daughters, Brielle and Ariana and they took his last name. It’s the second divorce for Kim, who was previously married to Daniel Toce, (Ariana’s dad) from 2001 to 2003, and the first for Kroy.
I predicted this would happen, money issues plus alleged cheating played a part. I know Kroy’s parents are jumping for joy at the demise of this marriage, they were praying he never married her.
