Lucy Liu Welcomes Son Rockwell Lloyd Liu, Via Gestational Surrogate

Actress Lucy Liu welcomed a baby boy, whom she welcomed via surrogate. She has named him Rockwell Lloyd Liu.

“I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier. Mom and baby are healthy and happy,” a rep for Lucy stated.

Lucy shared a picture on Instagram on Thursday 27th August, of herself holding her newborn son.

This is Lucy’s first child.

Gestational surrogacy: A surrogate is implanted with an embryo created by IVF, using intended mother’s egg and donor sperm. The resulting child is genetically related to intended mother and genetically unrelated to the surrogate.
