A 24-year-old woman has been charged after police say her 10-week-old son suffocated while she drank and did drugs.

Jordan Danielle Glenn, of the 1400 block of Tree Top Court, was indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury for two felonies — abuse or neglect of a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

Glenn’s son, identified in court papers only as A.H., died May 4.

Police say Glenn didn’t feed or check on the baby for more than 16 hours, and the child was left in an unsafe sleeping position on his abdomen in an adult bed. According to an autopsy, the child suffocated.

The boy was in a bedroom on the upper floor of a split-level residence while Glenn partied downstairs.

She drank alcohol, smoked pot and snorted Percocet, a pain killer, authorities said.

When she discovered hours later that the child wasn’t breathing, she called 911, police said.

Two other children were in the home at the time the child died, and they were removed by authorities and placed in protective custody.

Glenn was arrested Wednesday night and released from the St. Charles County Jail after posting $50,000 bail.

More charges could be filed in the case.
