Nicole L. Linton, 37, has been identified and arrested for causing a fiery multi-car crash in Windsor Hills that killed 6 people, including a baby and a pregnant woman.
Nicole was a nurse from Texas, will be booked after she’s released from the hospital where she’s being treated for injuries she sustained in the horrific crash.
She will be formally charged by the Los Angeles County district attorney on Monday.
The high speed crash happened around 2 pm Thursday at the intersection of La Brea and Slauson Avenues and was captured by a security camera at a gas station nearby.
According to a friend Nicole had an argument with her boyfriend, she was drunk and decided foolishly to endanger so many lives.
Among those who perished in this selfish and senseless act were:
- Asherey Ryan, 23, who was 8 months pregnant, she was pronounced dead at the scene
- Asherey’s one-year-old child Alonzo Luchiano Quintero
- Asherey’s unborn baby boy
- Renald who was Asherey’s fiance, died after the car split in half immediately on impact.
The family have created a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs.
The county coroner has not yet released official identifications of the other victims.
Eight people who were injured were transported to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for treatment. Of those eight, six were teens and one suffered major injuries.
