Police swarmed the marital home of Jules Wainstein and her estranged husband Michael on Thursday morning.
An officer was seen leaving the apartment carrying a written statement, with the words ‘threatening me… going to ruin my life.’
A source close to Jules confirmed that the Real Housewives Of New York star had called the police the day after the couple announced their divorce.
“He’s volatile, You do the math. He was texting her back in January,” said a friend, revealing that Michael had been involved in an ongoing affair with a good friend of Jules.
Michael Wainstein was seen climbing into a car with the couple’s son Jagger, five, outside the couple’s apartment, carrying a stuffed backpack, as multiple police officers escorted him from the building, which is were he also works.
Here is Jules blog on the breakdown of the marriage:
It was so difficult to watch the beginning of the end unfold in this week’s episode, but I’ve come a long way since my life began to unravel this past winter, and my kids and I will be just fine — better than fine. Truth is that it’s too easy to get caught up in your own reality, especially when you are blindsided and betrayed by someone who is supposed to be a partner and friend. I’m trusting and open, but I’m also strong and practical. This isn’t the end of the world, it’s just a big bump in the road, but I’ll get over it and I’ll be stronger for it. I’ve got my kids, my family, my friends, my business, Modern Alkeme, and while my heart might be broken, it’s still good as gold. There are bigger issues in the world that need tackling, and there are bigger realities that need to be addressed. My reality is that my kids and I are healthy and happy. We’re lucky and blessed. My thoughts and prayers are with the families affected by the tragedies in Orlando and the rest of the country and world.
On last night’s episode of RHONY the strained relationship between Jules and Michael played out.
Jules voiced her suspicions about Michael’s questionable behavior, after he returned home late ahead of a double date, then spent all evening on his phone.
The dinner began with Jules venting her frustration at how little her husband of eight years was helping with their two kids Rio, three, and son Jagger.
“Don’t ever think that marriage is always going to be 50/50. Sometimes it’s 70/30 or 80/20. Even if we’re on a date night, he’s on the phone – who the f*** is he talking to?” she told co-star Dorinda Medley.
