A police officer who has been identified as Corporal Eric Casebolt, in McKinney, Texas has been suspended after video footage emerged that shows him wrestle a bikini-clad girl to the ground and then point his gun at a group of unarmed teenagers.
First the vertically challenged cop performed an Call Of Duty, army roll (a theatrical tumble), after he may have tripped. Did he think he was on CSI: Texas Gymnastics Edition?
The incident happened after McKinney Police Department received several calls on Friday night about a disturbance near the Craig Ranch North Community Pool.
Cell phone footage of the incident shows one officer arrive at the scene and start overreacting in a manner that does little to defuse the situation. A fight had
reportedly broken out at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool when the police were called. “When the cops showed up everyone ran, including the people who didn’t do anything. So the cops just started putting everyone on the ground and in handcuffs for no reason. This kind of force is uncalled for especially on children and innocent bystanders,” the description of the Youtube video reads.

My little 7 year old was scared and said she thought she would have nightmares from that night. About 200 teens came and destroyed the fun and peace they were having and were basically being BULLIES (her word, not mine) to everyone else who was there. What you’re NOT seeing here are the events that lead to cops being called. Jumping fences to gain access to a pool, then harassing people who confront you about it and even fighting and throwing drinks at cars is grounds to call the cops. I’m pissed my daughter was scared while in our own neighborhood because of some thoughtless actions. I know lots of great teens….this is a first time I’ve felt discouraged by them.
Police Statement: “Pool Party Incident – On June 5, 2015 at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers from the McKinney Police Department responded to a disturbance at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool. The initial call came in as a disturbance involving multiple juveniles at the location, who do not live in the area or have permission to be there, refusing to leave. McKinney Police received several additional calls related to this incident advising that juveniles were now actively fighting.
First responding officers encountered a large crowd that refused to comply with police commands. Nine additional units responded to the scene. Officers were eventually able to gain control of the situation.
McKinney Police later learned of a video that was taken at the scene by an unknown party. This video has raised concerns that are being investigated by the McKinney Police Department. At this time, one of the responding officers has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of this investigation.”
Buzzfeed News spoke to Brandon Brooks, who uploaded the video to Youtube. “I think a bunch of white parents were angry that a bunch of black kids who don’t live in the neighborhood were in the pool. Everyone who was getting put on the ground was black, Mexican, Arabic. [The cop] didn’t even look at me. It was kind of like I was invisible.” Brandon is white.
