On Monday 25th, May 2015, Love & Hip Hop stars Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris were married in NYC during a live televised ceremony. With their family and famous friends in attendance, the couple of eight years took to the altar to profess their love for one another.

Yandy Smith’s first gown was a $25,000 Pnina Tornai design, Yandy posed for an official portrait beneath a canopy of tulle and flowers. The official wedding tagline was “Who wants a perfect love story anyway?” which references Beyonce’s lyric from Jay Z’s song “Part II (On the Run).”

The newlyweds then left the ceremony venue to attend their reception, and Yandy slipped into her second $25,000 Pnina Tornai gown.

Also featured in the service were the couple’s two children together, 2-year-old Omere and 4-month-old Skylar and Mendeecees two children from previous relationships, Mendeecees Jr and Aasim.

Mr and Mrs Harris’ wedding cake was a creation of the delicious J’adore Cakes which had eight tiers and had a variety of flavors including carrot cake, vanilla bean with dulce de leche, coconut cream with Ciroc, and blue velvet with Hennessy.

Yandy and Mendeecees wanted the wedding to be “glamorous, picturesque, and reminiscent of the Cinderella fairy tale, while still having elements that were unique to them and their story,” wedding planner and designer Ayanna Stephens of Chasing Cayden by Design says.
